Today is my official 2 month anniversary with fatsecret. I don't weigh myself until Sunday morning but when I weighed myself last Sunday I was officially 20lbs lighter.
Last night, I was going to forgo my heart medicine and just go to sleep. Unfortunately for me, I forced myself to get up and go to the kitchen and take my meds and after taking my meds...I had a big bowl of Special K cereal, 5 Girl Scout cookies and a quarter bag of Cape Cod Vinegar and Sea Salt potato chips! UGH!!!
Went to bed feeling horrible like I used to feel nightly, and woke up feeling toxic.
Thank goodness, I don't sleep well anymore because I was up at 4:49am and at the park at 6am to walk and do calisthenics. 1.40 miles and 180 movements.
Now, I won't eat anything until noon and after that I should be back on track.

As for my 2 month involvement here on fatsecret? It truly has been rewarding!
My goals and efforts are paying off and even though I still fall down like I did last night, I am getting right back up and getting back at it!

You know the drill. This is our time...let's roll.

I agree with you about the fatsecret experience, I love it too. About your compulsive eating you should be sooooo proud of yourself. You chose something healthy and controlled yourself with the potato chips. That is how I started. Now finally I am into the yogurt, pickles, and sun-dried tomatoes fully. But it starts that way. You realize there is something very wrong with your eating habits, and you begin tweaking it here and there, remember get rid of the junk food if possible and replace it, replace it with diet food.

Thank you Damaris, I could not have described it better. Every day I find myself tweaking this or adjusting that. I am loving the process.

it happens bruddah. the thing that stands out is getting up and getting the exercise going thus putting it behind you. you are going good things. you are making progress. let's keep it rolling bro!

You have had good progress this month! Yeah I had a big "slip" myself last week and gained 8 pounds. You just start over. It will be ok :)

Great to hear you lost 20lbs. we all have slips, you will get back on track. I realized this year I will never buy Girl Scout cookies, I realize many like them, I don't. I bought because someone's daughter was selling them, and next thing I knew....I ate a whole tube of those Thin Mints. Afterwards, was like eh, not so good. That is great that you work out in the mornings, that's awesome.
