I think I broke something with my 48 hour fast. I found that I loved NOT eating and now I'm having trouble getting back to normal eating. Before my fast, I was eating around 1300 calories a day (Keto-style) and doing fine. When my birthday came, I binged just a little. Then decided to remove the birthday binge with a 48 hour fast. It was exhilarating and productive. But that was over 2 weeks ago. Since that time, I have a very difficult time wanting food. I have to MAKE myself go have a meal. I know that I am wrecking my metabolism when I don't eat enough for a continued period of time and that's not the same as fasting.
I'm still losing weight so my body is still functioning like it should, but my head is completely messed up.
On a lighter note, I tried to be all cute and fashionable today and wear a belt over my blousy top, showing off that I actually have a waist now, but turns out my pants choice should have been tested first. The belt had to come off the blouse and serve the more practical purpose of holding up my pants.
Ha! I even have a special "dispensation" from the boss to wear jeans on non-casual days due to my rapidly declining body mass and she knows darn well that I don't make enough for a new wardrobe every other month... so she lets me wear what I can as long as I continue to appear as professional as possible (no T-shirt, sketti straps, etc.), so that's a fun little NSV.
