I think it was Friday that for the first time during my workout I tried doing squats and chest presses. I definitely felt a good ache from that (still do). Yesterday I did lunges, (attempted) pull ups, rows, and some other things and I really have a solid ache in my back and shoulders. Plus mowing the lawn this morning has added to the sense that my arms have been replaced by lead weights. It sucks trying to grab things at shoulder height and higher now because it seems to require more of a Herculean effort, but I'm hopeful that the ache will transition to being stronger in those areas. I think I'll be able to leg press my goal weight soon. Right now I can do 2-3 sets (12 reps ea) of leg presses/ calf extensions at 100lbs. I first started at 70 or 80lbs and have been gradually increasing weight as I can tolerate it. :)
