I have spent the past month gearing up for this diet, so glad to have finally started it. I used to wake up, shower and leave for work and barely make it on time. I have been setting my alarm for a good 90+ minutes in advance to make sure I get up, relax with some coffee and make my lunch, have breakfast and enjoy the start of my day.. I feel I have finally mastered it and have officially kicked off DAY 1 of this quest to lose weight, feel better about myself and eat better. It has to be a life style change because I really don't want to gain it all back! Any-who, off to take the dog to the trails at the state park since it's amazingly 55 degrees in mid-November!

That's great! I've been working on trying to wake up earlier myself. Normally I got my husband up for work and then passed out for about two more hours...but then I make excuses that my morning is gone so I can't work out and clean like I need to, and then I just work on my projects and then play games. So I am trying my best to get out of bed once I send my husband off to work so I can get in my work out and cleaning before noon. Good luck with the new schedule!

Thanks so much for the comment! :) I use to do that as well when my husband worked an early shift and I woke myself up for work and felt so awful in the morning. Now I keep myself away even if it's his 5:30 day. I feel so much better doing that.:)

It seriously feels like you have sooo many more hours in a day huh?? May I just say that you two made my day . . . I too would send the family off for the day and catch another hour or so . . . : / I would go for an hour walk with a friend at 6 so after my fam left I justified the morning nap!! Now . . . I have found more time in my day ;) I do thank you for sharing!!
