Gosh I have not journalled for so long. I really got out of habit. I did return to my trusty old diary, where I just jot down things, as & when they happen.
& a lot has happened. My training with James is going really well, although it seems very different from Evelyns. I only do 1/2 hour sessions. Monday - legs, thursday - arms. With major focus on strength building. The workouts are intense & my arms/legs usually shake & feel like they don't belong to me anymore. But each exercise is always slow with focus on the correct posture. Well...I let you guys know when I can do my 1st un assisted pull-up ;).

But that won't be for a little while as I have popped 2 ribs out last week & my physio only put them back on tuesday. I need to rest my arms for another week & only do symetrical toning exercise with very light weights. So more leg work this afternoon.

I have been out in the country side a lot (beating), the last time was yesterday( nice mid-week break), & it not just rained but it poured down all morning. Just when we thought the afternoon might get cancelled.....the clouds disappeared & we had glorious sunshine :)

LB has his appointment with a heart consultant tomorrow. I just hope he will get the all clear!!!

I am also in the process of completly changing my way of eating. According to James my eating is all good & healthy( with a few little exceptions), but I am eating the wrong way round!!! So since last friday I have been eating my biggest meal for breakfast with a lot of protein, good fats & some complex carbs. Not easy to face that at 6am.

BUT: I am amazed on how much fuller I am for so much longer!!! And the best result: My flatulance has disappeared!!! I always thought I need tons of veg to make me regular & none smelly. WRONG!!!!!
Lunch is now protein & carbs(but smaller than breakfast) & dinner is only a snack unless I had a big workout in the evening.
Its definiately a learning curve, & its a steep one. I am in need of more ideas for breakfast, so I have ordered a few books on-line.

I really don't know what I weigh in the moment, ( I just record a steady weight), but my size 36(german size) jeans fit perfectly, so I don't really care. But til I have figured out this new WOE & settled into a routine, I won't.

Last sunday I went out for a 10km run. LB went shooting & I was just not in the mood for it. I contemplated to go to the gym, but as it was a brilliant sun - shiny day - I thought it would be a crime to stay in-doors :). I was pleased how well it went ( i haven't run in weeks).

My mum has fully recovered too :)
