Did good on my eating yesterday calorie-wise, but I still had too much sugar. darn those Cadbury Mini chocolate eggs! Actually, compared to how I used to eat prior to tracking everything, I'm doing great, though. I am trying to re train myself in several areas, including ignoring the childhood parent directive to 'clean your plate,' and the need for dessert or something sweet immediately after a meal. that's also from my childhood. my dad always had dessert right after dinner, regardless of how full you might be. also, withholding dessert was a punishment for NOT cleaning your plate. amazing how things from your childhood stay with you.
