I've quit soda - except for Sunday, I decided that I got to have some sodas. I had 4 cans of Diet Pepsi - I know, kind of awful right? But then my sister commented on it and I got to thinking. How is that worse than me going out and having 4 beers (of which I had none)? Or downing a whole bottle of wine. So, I stopped feeling guilty about it, haven't gone back to soda since (so I think it was a success). The food was yummers - back to reality now, right?

Success! And ... you are back. Get crackin'! I make those little trade offs all the time, the "this for that" or "i didn't do that so i can do this" ... as long as we get back on our chosen program, more power to us.

I'm such a creature of habit. Get up, get dressed, get to work - there I'll have a breakfast burrito around 8 (sometimes that's mid-morning), and then a tuna melt for lunch with some chips. It seems a little weird and dumb that I'm so formulaic, but I've found with my eating it's comfortable to eat that because I know where it puts me on calories for the day without having to figure things out as much. I have a couple variations, have a cookie snack or not - but usually by the time I'm home I have about 600 - 700 calories left in my day and that works well for me. Even though maybe it's embarassing to have as many tuna melts on my diet calendar as I do :P Lifting 3 x 17 tonight - it takes forever! But after tonight only 3 more nights until I get to change it up, add weight and move back down in reps. Actually looking forward to that.
