So my weigh in was as bad as expected. I was hoping for a miracle on the scale and should have known better than to expect it. I gained almost all of what I lost last week back this week, but Aunt Flo finally came to visit. Longest cycle EVER for me...37 days, I am usually a consistent 28-30. My WW coach said that two of the four pounds were probably attributed to the cycle issue. The other two...yeah that was just me being stubborn all week and not following points. On the brighter side of things...I did walk/exercise consistently Tues through Friday this week, so I guess that probably helped lessen the blow!

However, I have started off this week with a bang! I have gotten almost all of my good health guidlines in for today, water was not a problem since it is so darn hot here. I was down at the barn today and it was only 85, but it was SO humid it felt like 110. The horses were SO lethargic! They are usually really testy and put up a fight, but they didn't have any fight in them at all today. I felt like I was sitting in a sauna the whole time I was there. Coming home didn't help the matter, apparently...hardly anyone in San Diego believes in air conditioning. Neither of the two places we have lived in have had it. Granted...we only get about three to four weeks of unbearable heat a year, but those weeks are so trying on one's well being because it decreases appetite and makes you not want to exercise. I know...I shouldn't be complaining...a lot of people across the country have hotter weather than we do, but being used to having it around 50-60, the sudden jump is horrid! Anyway...back to the plan, I was able to get all of my fruits/veggies in, my milk, my grains, lean protein...basically everything but my multivitamin which i pretty much only get in during the week since I keep them on my desk at work as a reminder. :) i always have the hardest time with the oils, but I just started adding it to my salad along with the dressing. so hopefully next week will go better for me. My goal for June was to be at 222 by the 29th since it is the last weigh in for the month, but I think i am a week behind now. Which is okay, just have to keep on truckin and not let it happen again!

Don't worry about a little setback. Stay focused and eat on plan this week like you are working on and you will get back down. I've never been to San Diego, but I know what you mean about no a/c. Up here in the NW, the same thing goes-- they hardly ever put a/c in the houses, and while we also only have a few times a year when it gets just sweltering, it would definitely be nice to have the option! Anyway, stay on track and stay positive and you'll be good!
