Yesterday was a very valuable lesson!!
Good news: I hit a low--141.6, and got in the green zone after so very long!! I was so frustrated over the last two weeks of working out and dieting hard and not seeing a good weight loss, and here, 4 days of continuous losses finally!! (Perhaps due to starting a strict induction? or perhaps because the body finally adjusted to the steady changed increased workout and lower calories so it got out of its holding pattern?
2) Bad news: I self-sabotaged !!!! Stayed up late and got hungry, and started dipping in bad foods (half a pack of sev, 2 crackers, few small pieces of chocolate covered popcorn)...as a result I blew my induction, increased the calories to crazy amount, and perhaps threw my metabolism and blood sugars in a tizzy!! Harder to get back on track even more so this time due to the constant yo-yO i've put my body thru
Lessons learned: 1) Be extra careful of days I loose weight..I tend to find ways to self-destruct 2) NO MORE CHEATING until goal weight...it's very expensive to get back on track!! 3) days of workout-break, i.e., days I don't workout--I somehow tend to eat bad! 4) days I stay up late and get stressed about work are also my vulnerable days...
Today I spent time makign up: 1) hard spinning class for 60 mins 2) Running/walking for 45 mins, 3.4 miles, 340 calories, and sweated a lot! 3) calories: under 300, drank only whey shake with soy milk, and coffee with cream 4) lots of water
Back on track...and tomorrow will be more working out...
I feel each day is up and down, but atleast I have faster recovery now, and am ready to go again in a few mins! or hours!
