I haven’t posted full body pictures in a while, I took some today though and was comparing from when I first started- and I just can’t believe that I let myself get that big again. I’m not going to ever let myself revert back. I am 6 pounds away from being the thinnest I’ve been in the last 7-8 years!

Thanks everyone for the kind words and support. I feel great right now, things are going really well at the moment and I feel on top of the world. It definitely feels like I have the momentum to keep pushing forward to improve my whole self- body, mind and spirit. I really like the person I’m becoming 🥰

One of many benefits of logging and tracking your food is that you see on paper what you are eating and how much. Many folks slowly become complacent and suddenly their portion sizes are creeping up enough to make an already difficult journey even more so. By weighing your food (in grams) you have instant feedback and reinforcement regarding what you are eating and if it is consistent with your weight loss goals. Then you can stop the train, so to speak, BEFORE you derail if you CHOOSE to. An additional advantage is that when you get to maintenance it’s not like you can brush yourself off and go back to the habits you had before and still continue to maintain your weight. So important to choose a WOE that is not just doable for now but will carry you through into the future. I have been tracking my food for years, it is just a habit. I don’t have an obesity problem and never have but I work at maintaining a descent weight and eating healthier (not perfect) so that I can stay healthy as long as possible. I am a portion control, moderation in all things and I exercise. A crucial element in weight and health management.
