A sunny Tuesday :)

Happy, happy, happy......what a shame I had to go to work.

Ran on friday. It was so cold, the easterly winds are still with us. My time was crap again(1:08) for measly 10km, but I do blame it on the wind. Although it was the most pleasant run I had in weeks as the sun was shinning. My sportstracker didn't record properly. I think it lost satelite signal at some stage. So it told me I only ran 4km taking over an hour. LOL.

Saturday we cut LBs hedge. It only took 5 hours!!! Well he was cutting, I was clearing up as we went. In the evening we had friends come over for dinner. A well deserved dinner after all that hard work.

Sunday had a bit of a damper. LBs mum had a phone call. Her younger brother who has been long suffering with Alzheimer & cancer, had fallen into a coma. So I just sat with her, chatted about the good old times & had lots of tea. The afternoon was a bit more cheery as we were looking after LBs 4 year old granddaughter & with a little energetic person like that around its hard to stay gloomy :).

As LB & his mum drove up north yesterday to see her brother, I had time to go to the gym. I managed another set of my wavetraining & increased the weights slightly. I still only did the upper body workout as the gym got so busy that I had no change of getting onto the other machines. I'll try again another day :)

I am happy that I can log a small loss. Its been hovering for weeks now, but it is definately lower now!!!! The small changes seem to do the trick :)

Happy Days & here is to a 4 day week!

Edit: Just had a phone call that the brother past away this morning at 7am. He is at peace at last :(

So sorry to hear about LB's uncle passing (mum's brother = uncle, correct?). What is wavetraining? Sounds interesting. I am hoping for a return of some of my energy soon now that the spring-like weather is coming as I would love to go for a run again. But, for now, I'll just enjoy hearing about yours ;) Congrats on the loss!
