Okay FS buddies, I need some encouragement to keep me going. I was very disappointed when I stepped on the scale this morning and I was only down 1.1 lbs since last Sunday. I really had my hopes up that it was going to be more for my second week on SB. My husband lost 4.5 lbs, so that really pissed me off. I followed the plan and even pumped up my exercise this past week. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Okay, I guess I should be glad I didn't stay even or gain, but I was sure hoping for a little more. I really wanted out of the 170's for good! Has anyone had to take something for constipation while on SB? I think I am getting there, so I thought I would head it off - nothing fun about that :) Last week I didn't track my food as I was too busy, so I think I better this week to make sure my calories and exercise are in line. You really need to look at your averages when losing weight. Youre average is 3.2 pounds a week so you are doing AWESOME! Like you, my first week I lost like 9 pounds but only 3 the next. It's the averages that count ok? Yes I had and many others here had the same "issues" with constipation. I'm not kidding that I think I went like 4 and 5 days at a time the first few weeks on SB. My body adjusted because I would not take laxatives and nothing natural seemed to help me. There are great suggestions though so just keep asking away and Im sure people will have great ideas for ya. And again I really have to add that your food diary will help you a ton. We might have a suggestion for you if we knew exactly what you were eating and how many calories, fat, etc... So I really suggest doing that. It will make all the difference in the world. Sometimes people start out great but then stall due to too low caloric intake, so really please believe me, the food diary is an excellent tool.

Don't compare yourself to men, or anyone else for that matter. We all lose at our own rates. Men have more muscle, so they lose alot faster than woman. You are doing great. Have patience!

You are doing GREAT - and remember you are exercising and builging lean muscle and sometimes you don't see that on the scale. I agree - don't compare yourself to your hubby - they do lose at a faster rate than women do initially. Hang in there and I hope things improve on the elmination front -- once you are able to get rid of it -- you will probably be down even more!!!! See you tomorrow night at the fitness center!
