I am following the SB plan and in my 3rd week. I decided to continue phase 1 for another week to help get me going on the weight loss. Well what I find odd is that when I follow the SB book phase 1 meal plan, the "How does your diet compare to SB" on the FS site, shows my protein way higher than what the SB diet would be. This to me is very odd. Did anyone else experience this? I have a protein at every meal and whatever I have is a normal serving size. Just don't get it. I am obviously missing something....

The higher your BMI the longer you can stay on SB phase 1 so I wouldnt worry about adding another week, Im sure you'll be fine with that. I also wouldnt worry about where your food diary puts you compared to others (for the most part) because unless everyone is adding every single thing perfectly into their food journal, teh numbers are going to be off. Your proteins do seem a tad high but you're doing so well. My personal opinion is that we don't need that much protien in the form of meat every single meal. Keep getting input and just do what you know works best for you. Your doctor would be a great to print out your food diary and get his/her opinion. Also your pal 4thehalibut would be a great person to get some of her valuable insight from. Have a wonderful week. Keep journaling and using your food diary, you start figuring out what works and what really boosts your loss along! Keep up the great work!

Comparisons aren't accurate because they take the average and some people don't use the food diary religiously, thus skewing the results. I would not even compare with the average, although if you go to the profile of a buddy who is in the same stage as you, you can compare accurately. Congratulations on a great start! It does look like you have a great loss the first week which has tapered a bit in the second week. Your food choices seem right on target. Your exercise looks great too! Keep it up!
