I am really excited to have lost 10 lbs since I started a weight loss study at UNC. It's been a month, so it is slow, but the gradual change in my eating habits have really helped me stick to it. And counting the calories with Fat Secrets blackberry app has made ALL the difference. Now I budget to save calories for a celebratory dinner or happy hour, so I don't go over my budget- and if I do, I plan to take the next few days very light, so I don't hit a derailing bump up on the scale.
