10 Days to London
I am getting more and more excited :)
Yesterday I booked our 'Afternoon Tea'. I didn't get the place I wanted, apparently you have to book the really fancy ones month in advance, but the one I found is just of Covent Garden and as we will order 'a la carte' we can pick & choose to our hearts content :)
I think I might have found a solution for my snacking. I kept on reading about mindful eating. And at long last I have ordered the book : eat what you love, love what you eat. Its been an eye-opener.
I don't know what it is, but it seems like a weight dropped of my shoulders. Not to feel guilty when you slip up, but simply to be in charge of yourself. I have never been a fan of any sort of diet, although I have tried many of them.
I am relearning to eat instinctively, to recognize hunger & when I am full, to eat slowly and actually enjoy what I eat. Its such a revelation. To realise how often I ate because I was bored, because it was time, because it was there or I was offered it, is mind boggling.
I am learning a lot by stopping & listening to my body. There is no right or wrong anymore. I could go on, but I am not even half way through the book.
