Day 1 of the 1400 calorie plan went okay, good news is I wasn't really hungry. Bad news is, I barely lost 1/4 lb. But I didn't exercise last night because of Shark Week, and I watched (way too much) TV. Tonight I will DEFINITELY get on the treadmill! Turns out I didn't hate the Kale salad, probably the Balsamic vinegarette & dried cranberries helped. However, this morning's breakfast smoothie was a disaster! I should have sliced up the mango into smaller pieces, they were so frozen solid that my immersion blender couldn't get the job done. Live & learn, I guess.
