Had my annual checkup today, everything looks good even though my cholesterol levels are slightly higher than last time - Dr. called it the Covid effect. More concerning is the fact that I've apparently lost about 1/2 inch in height. Gotta get that bone density scan done this year! I've been trying to shift my exercise a little, to include more "strength building" and a little less cardio. Not sure how well this is working, since I recently gained like 7 lbs for no apparent reason, urg! It's like I turned 61 and boom! We discussed diet a little, the Dr. is okay with a higher protein diet. I've been trying to hit around 100g protein daily, which includes a daily protein shake with 30g protein. Wonder if I should start drinking 2 of them daily - but what will that do to the overall diet & weight loss efforts??? I guess if weight loss/maintenance was easy, I wouldn't need FatSecret, am I right?
