I am trying very hard to stick to my self imposed diet. Chicken or fish 6 out of 7/nights. Beef, lamb or pork 1 night. Carbs mostly come from fruits and veggies. Very rarely do I eat pasta ,rice or bread.. I put on weight during the last 4 years after getting to my goal. But my mother passed away and just as I was getting over that depression, Covid hit. Considering I have arthritis, and can’t do much except walk, I think I’m doing ok. I hope to go back to walking in the pool when it opens up again.I treated myself to a manicure today and set up an appointment for a haircut and blowout on Wednesday. These are my non food rewards for losing weight these last 2 weeks. Good luck to you all in your weight loss journey.

Good luck to you too - there are many people here - who once lost the weight and then gained it back - and then returned to once again - making a personal statement that it was unacceptable for themselves and choose to make a healthier lifestyle for themselves. We are all walking the same path...most everyone has some prior injury....limping right along and there is no real finish line. This site and these people may well end up being a life time relationship.

I've realized carbs are NOT my friend. tried eating healthier and I was still taking in way too much for my activity level. glad things are starting to look up for you! I hope it works well for both of us!! (I have to get motivated to do exercises lol)
