DAY 3 OF PROJECT 'NO SNACKING'.
What I've noticed with no snacking is that the stomach shrinks. I was much fuller much faster yesterday on my main meal.
There are so many views about everything in dieting.
Some advice is to have 6 small meals and on the other end of the spectrum, you've got the intermittent fasters. My God! Who to believe? I'm the type that always wants the best bang for my buck, so, I'm always on the lookout for a more efficient way of doing things, in just about everything in my life. Consequently, I'm always changing my way of doing things. (not necessarily a good think, since it throws persistence and consistency by the wayside).
I think I'll make an effort to stick with this way of doing. I'm happy with it and it's yielding results. It's simple and effective. 3 meals + desserts and light snack before bed and in keeping with my WW points + regular exercise.
when Deb said 'And to say they write books about dieting' it really struck a cord with me. Because in reality, it's so simple, once you stop looking for the magic pill. My time could be better spent elsewhere than spending my life looking for the most efficient diet. I've got to choose a good plan that works for me and stick with it. Many roads lead to Rome. I just have to take one and follow the path consistently and persistently, and HAVE FAITH IN THE PROCESS. WW is a proven formula.
I think many dieter's downfall is that they look for the diet that will let them keep their habits. And that's why the diet industry is thriving. They want their cake and to eat it too, so to speak...lol
I'm sure I'll get good results from now on. How can I not?
Thank you Deb and Sne and others, you've inspired me a whole lot. I'm taking your advice since you can't argue with success!
