Interesting day..baby shower, had only water. There was pop, cookies and cupcakes... Met mom, also both of her parents of my new great grand daughter. They seem like a very nice family. My daughter and I spent an hour talking with them after others left. Too bad my grandson is being stupid and took off another state. We will be part of the family no matter what dad does.
Finished quilting the blanket this morning, pushed that one a bit close. It was nice to work my magic on fabric, enjoyed it. Chores when I came home. Not much for exercise. Outside chores tomorrow, the weather should be cool and dry.

Not hard, I'm not really big on sweets. Also not a quilt, 2 layers of fleece quilted together, she will have a real quilt as well. Due date is November 9. My fleece quilted blankets are a family favorite, I made everyone one for Christmas a couple years ago. They love them, they are so warm and snugglly . I still need to make some for the beds at my house.

Good day in all. So sad but there isn't much we can do. Cody, grandson is 25, no sense of responsibility including for himself. I've told him, since he was little to stop and think, use his brain, he doesn't. He continually follows others and ends up in trouble. The young man across the street from me, actually one of Cody's friends is following the same path. Cody's parents and I will be there for his daughter.
