I am so frustrated. Can't get my blood sugar readings to cooperate. Was fasting reading of 134. I had one piece of bread with a tablespoon of peanut butter on it and two hours later reading was 249. Later it went down to 154 had a cup of pasta and butter with grated Romano cheese for lunch and two hours later reading was 285. before both meals I took 20 units of NovoLog. 175 before dinner of a pork loin chop, a 1/2 cup of apple sauce and a cup of steamed butternut squash. 214 two hours later. Betime reading was 166. I can deal with the 100+ readings, but I am upset with those over 200. Arrgh.
