I love going to the Goodwill. It is staggering what I find. We also have a GoodWill boutique close to me. they siphon off some of the “better” stuff and charge premium prices.  

I love searching for gems at Goodwill. I have 2 cashmere sweaters from Theory that I got for $1 a piece -- if you are petite, there's a ton of stuff that doesn't get skimmed by the employees. And don't pass up the upscale 2nd hand "boutiques" either; I got a pair of work-appropriate, black heels by Jimmy Choo for $25. We lose weight in our feet, too.
