Today was told I look pale. Was feeling tired, as the kid didn't let me sleep properly last night.
Tomorrow I will not fast. I cannot. I'm too tired and need to sleep and recharge so I can keep going.
This tiredness is constant in my life. I already cut sugars, bread, junkfood(Ok had it 1 time lately will not lie). I don't drink, don't smoke. Trying to exercise as often as possible. Taking supplements, introduced shakes in my daily meals.
Went to SPA. Had massage, sauna.
I am not depressed. I am happy with my life, however I'm very tired especially after coming home from work.
Was reading about passion for life and how much energy other ppl have, and comparing with the most of the time tiredness I have on day to day basis. I would like also to be like those people and have that much energy, wake up fresh , play with the kid, smile run around and all the things.
I am only 28. If I am now such way what will happen when I am 40 or 50?

I was tired a lot when I was raising kids. My mom related that she had more energy in her 50-60's than when she was younger...Interestingly true for me and my daughter too, who is now raising her family. Are you eating enough quality food? I wish you luck! And sleep is so important for recharging you body. Take care.

Thanks. Yes I guess my food is good quality. I'm eating mostly vegetarian fresh cooked on daily basis. That's good news to hear later on it wil get better, I thought it ets worse as time passes.

Might I suggest a check-up with blood work? I have Epstein-Barr Syndrome. It is like Chronic Fatigue, but a little less so. I am tired all the time. If you are doing all the right things (Diet, exercise, sleep), and are still tired, you really should get checked out. Good luck.

Also - if you are vegetarian, you may be missing essential proteins and fats that give us natural energy. I would be careful to be sure your nutrition is balanced - especially the protein.

I also noticed you are eating over 200 grams of carbs - which is metabolized as sugar - you are likely getting a blood sugar spike and then you crash and feel sudden fatigue.Perhaps try increasing your protein to 75-100 grams and lowering the carbs to 100 grams -you likely will have more energy and reduce the fatigue. Just a suggestion!

Thanks everyone. I'll try to make some adjustments with the protein(it's hard if you eat veg to have 70-100 g without supplements, but i have supplements, so just need to be regular with it and load more on lentils, horsegram. For bloodwork , don't know when I can have that done. Maybe when I go to Europe next time.

Sweetheart, I battle fatigue on a daily basis, for different reasons than you. Sometimes I get the best of it, sometimes it beats me down. Anyway, as previous commenters said, you might want to drop the amount of carbs you eat daily. As a former vegetarian - well, almost, I used to eat eggs, dairy and sometimes fish - and between us, I will go back to that diet once I drop all the weight, I know that sometimes you have to struggle with the protein need. As a general idea, you can allow yourself to eat some eggs, but if you want to be stricter, then gorge on flaxseed and chia seeds, and nuts. I used to eat lentils a lot, and nuts of all kinds, and very rarely get a protein shake. My lunch usually consisted of a smoothie made with wheat bran, flaxseed meal, grated walnut, and almond or rice milk and some fruit (banana most of the time). As for health issues, I'd suggest to get your thyroid checked, but ask for a full thyroid bloodwork - doctors have the tendency to check only the TSH level and that is not enough, ask to have the Free T3 and Free T4 checked as well. Both hyperthyroid and hypothyroid can give you fatigue. As for supplements, you might want to get some extra B6 - even a B vitamin complex. Green tea is an excellent energy booster, and so is ginseng. Try to cook with more fresh ginger and fresh garlic.

Also you might have an iron defficiency - be slightly anemic. Stinging nettles herbal tea does wonders for that. And of course spinach. Lentils, chia seeds, quinoa, sesame seeds.
