A couple weeks ago I tried running hill repeats for the first time. It always sounded terrible to me so I never did it before… well, it IS terrible, and also I think I love it. Ha. So, between this and the fact that I don’t like gyms and my home gym is a little limited for weights, I think my decision is made and I’ll focus on cardio for a while. I can devote my lifting efforts over the next month or so to working on form, stability, balance, dynamic multi-plane movements, and strength endurance. so when I am ready to finally join a gym I’ll have my muscles and joints in good shape to lift a little heavier 👍 I’ll probably wait til after the New Year’s resolution people burn themselves out on going to the gym before I join somewhere 😆

Come February, you can probably use any piece of equipment in the gym, no waiting 😂

@OTB yeah I would love to! It’s a big goal for me. But I only have a 5x10 space in a sun porch with a slanted floor, it would be a super tight fit and no room for deadlifts and the slanty floor is probably not great for form. And I can’t do it indoors because if I drop something heavy on the floor I might just fall through into the basement 😆 I’m in the 1st fl apt in a 120 year old house. As soon as I get my own space with a basement or a garage, a squat rack will be my first purchase. The garage gym is the thing I miss most about CA so far.
