Good morning, FS!

Sitting here this morning self reflecting, and evaluating the plan I've been following. While I think the "Bulletproof Diet" is great for someone who doesn't need or hasn't experienced the joys of being keto-adapted, I don't think it's for me. Mainly because of the carb cycling. It's funny how a carb addict's brain only needs to hear a few times that "you need a few carbs" before one decides to jump ship. I am almost certain that my mojo lies in full blown ketosis, and I'm on my way back to find it. :)

So... Here's to trial and error, and never giving up! *raises BPC*

I do so much better without many carbs.. most days I am around 25 total grams and the only reason it goes over at all is because of the avocados I eat. I don't subtract the fiber when I count carbs because it feels like cheating to me.. lol. But I do have to keep my fat content high and my protein around 50-60 grams or else the protein spikes insulin and causes my BGLs to go high. But it sounds like you are figuring this out BP3 and for that you deserve a big ole HELL YEAH! :D

my mojo's on vacay too at the moment.. I would so love to be back on ketosis.. its not outta reach ... we got this !

Grass fed butter definitely makes a difference in taste, and it's much more creamy and frothy.

Thanks, Ravyne! :) I've been known all of this. I lost the majority of my weight on keto. I had forgotten a little though, because I've been off of it about a year. I honestly hadn't felt that good since I was a teenager! @Red, that's right! I'm planning a LC Thanksgiving, but after that it will be keto low for me!

Well that makes since, Rckc. I love fat from meat, thus I normally don't need to add butter at meals.

Congrats on the realization that 'carb cycling' is for those that still can't fully admit that they are addicts. I think that it's also a 'sales' point because of common brain washing that you 'need' to eat carbs vs. relying on your body to make them. I think people in general are afraid of giving up pleasure out of fear. When weighing out the pleasure of eating carbs vs. how I feel now; hands down I would choose Keto without a second thought.

Agreed, Frosty. I have had a taste of being keto adapted, and there is nothing else in the world like it. The carb addict in me has looked for my mojo here, there, and everywhere trying to avoid the fact that it lies in keto adaption. I know after a few weeks (or maybe less in my case bc I've been in and out of ketosis for weeks, and once was highly keto adapted-maybe I have a few enzymes still built up) I will feel like I'm on top of the world. That's actually more of my motivation for getting back than the weight loss. *Hello. My name is Lee, and I am a carboholic*
