Long overdue check in. Weight is still steady through Thanksgiving. Exercise has been lacking, that will change starting this weekend.

The offending tooth was finally pulled yesterday, surgeon said it probably should have come out a long time ago as the post for the crown had broken the root into pieces. So the extraction took a long time. With my body no longer fighting it once it heals I should re-gain more energy.

Am on soft foods for a few days so soup and chicken chili are in the plans. I called in sick today and have vacation next week so not back to work until Thursday. Tis a good weekend to get the house decorated and things done for Christmas. Wed. though is GD's knee surgery for a torn cartilage.

To anyone reading this, remember portion control is paramount to survive the holidays with no weight gain.

Thanks Snow, being lazy. I want to get some things done but I've only accomplished getting beans for chili started in a quick soak, a chicken in the slow cooker and a package of boneless thighs pulled out of the freezer to thaw for chili. Playing solitaire on the computer as it' is mindless, the pin meds make my mind mostly jelly. So glad I didn't try to brave work.

Agreed: portion control is definitely how I've lost so much weight. Speaking of which, you're at 128 right now -- do you need to reset your goal weight on your profile? (Don't know your height.)

So glad you can rest a little now - dental work is my worst event in life. I even avoid the check-ups sometimes even when I know it is preventative.

SOONSOON, I am a couple pounds below my goal and have been for about 1.5 years, not changing it. Just keeping it there but still have a long ways to go on fitness.

HCB, I'm the same, hate going to the dentist. Not taking it easy, working on getting my house back in some semblance of order so I can haul Christmas stuff out and again be proud of my work in progress house. I still hadn't put my quilting studio back together after it partially flooded the end of July. It was all cleaned and sanitized but nothing had been moved back into that part. It has just been a crazy busy summer and fall with little time to get much accomplished. Yay! it is useable again. Still have the bathroom, laundry, neglected extra frig, and 3rd bedroom to clean today.
