Going off plan this week, as we have a friend staying and we're eating out a lot. So effectively it's a bit like being on holiday. I'm aiming to overeat sensibly, lol, and will get back on track when she's gone. Still weighing every day, as it is educational and entertaining!

A week should not wreck the boat. Enjoy the eating out and knuckle down once your friend leaves.

Enjoy your company and this little "holiday". But we want to see you back on here with your nose to the grindstone as soon as they leave!

Overeating sensibly is a great! We ate out at a buffet and I took off most of the batter off the deep fried shrimp and scallops. I ate cold shrimp and lean meats too and stayed away form the mystery sauces. I felt good the next day about it.

A planned week off is like a little shake-up. You'll soon lose anything that you might gain when you hop back on board next week. ENJOY your time with your friend!

Your weight naturally fluctuates by up to 2ib every day so weighing everyday isn't going to create a clear picture of what your weight is really doing. Maybe cut down to once a week?

I'm a firm believer in weighing once a week.

I'm glad you are enjoying your company. I weigh every day.

I find it helpful to weigh every day, then I can see what causes the fluctuations, and know when I do a weekly weigh-in whether the figure I see is part of a trend or not. Weight has gone down slightly since Monday ;)

@Lakeontario, you are right, there are little things like that I could do. I had battered fish on Sunday, and ate the batter without thinking. I should have left it, or just had a taste, maybe. I ate the whole lot, and it wasn't even nice! I have to get out of the idea of eating everything on my plate! Will try that the rest of the week.

Eating everything on my plate is an issue I too have. You should always leave something, even if it is just a chip.

You can easily rectify any gains afterwards, so enjoy!
