70 days to go 16.4 lbs to go 18:6 fast 17.16 g carbs 1086 Cals
Thanks for all the support and ideas yesterday friends ❤️, it got me through the day and back on track 😁😁
Still struggling, but my " inner bear" is growling less ( love the analogy horseshoe1) Took my daughter to lunch for her exam results Went to frankie &bennys diner.. had an ABC salad.. avocado, bacon, chicken. Skipped the dough sticks and dessert. Asked for the honey dressing on the side, then had a teaspoon of mayo instead. Deconstructed the salad and guessed ingredient sizes. Left the onion and tomato.
Feel a bit more in control of my eating. Was tempted to measure waist etc, but will do that a beginning of sept when my annual leave is over. Gonna try to stay on track before I see my gp on Tuesday for my hip.
Household chores today, as hoping to go to the Lake District tomorrow.. leaving behind the driest/warmest bank holiday Monday in London in memory to travel to the clouds of the north 😂😂
Bought my Parmesan yesterday to try my crisps this afternoon.. hopefully I'll feel better after them than pringles ( noting minitata comments on carbs which all apply to me)
Wishing you all a happy Saturday fs friends 😎😎

So many fantastic ideas posted yesterday. I'll be using some myself. How about a low carb wrap? Make a flat omelette with a couple of eggs and use that instead of a wheat tortilla wrap. Spread with spicy mayo and add salad, avocado and bacon/chicken/ham/salmon/whatever you prefer. Roll carefully and eat. If you've a really good non-stick pan you can make the omelette without oil so it's not greasy or just rest it on kitchen paper while you prepare the rest (yes, I know fat is good on low carb but a greasy outer to an omelette wrap isn't that nice). You have the skills and determination, Poppy. You just need to concentrate on that goal like you did for the wedding 🤗👍🏻

Ooh phooka.. I'd love to have you in my kitchen 🤗
As it's actually not raining on a BH weekend we're having BBQ today, which OH cooks ( he cooks BBQ, then breakfast at Christmas lol)
The be cleaned the house and intend to do bugger all. Sitting in the garden to reread the obesity code and got complete guide to fasting on my kindle to refocus myself.
My elder daughter LOVES omelettes, so will try the wrap idea this week while they're off school ( the vegetarian daughter loves omelette too, so win-win)
I think I'm struggling as due to limited Mobility I normally spend a lot of the school holidays out eating with the kids and it doesn't seem as much fun anymore.
Will let you know how the Parmesan crisps turn out
Enjoy your garden 🤗

You can shape the parmesan crisps, while they're still warm, into Pringle shapes by laying them over a rolling pin. Hope they turn out OK. Enjoy yourself in the Lake District 🙂

They're really easy to make - maybe your daughters could make them for you rather than the other way around. That would be a treat for everyone!
