Yesterday was such a wonderful day. I slept good, got some exercise in early in the morning, and had a great day at work. The weather forecast said rain and cold, but we were pleasantly surprised with sun and the first day that resembles summer.
Wife and I were out for lunch, having a very reasonable pita with chicken and lettuce.
However, the weather really stuck with me, and I wanted to enjoy it. It's been so long since Denmark's seen a day like yesterday.
I decided to skip work an hour early, called wife and we went out for a huge ice cream. It wasn't planned, it wasn't in the budget, but it was a 100% calculated decision. I have no regrets - it was all worth it.
Dinner changed a little as well. It was fairly high on calories, but had been calculated in my food journal. However, as I looked at the dull leftovers I had to work with, I realized that they could make a pretty decent chinese pork and rice if I added eggs, chili sauce and soy sauce.
Of course, we all know what the soy sauce does to me - I gained massively. Probably because of the ice cream too, of couse.
Sure the calories were over. However, I've had so much in deficit that I don't have any real worries about it. It'll be gone in aa day or two.

This morning I feel TIRED. I slept okay, I think, but I am in NO way awake this morning. There will be no exercise this morning, I simply don't have the energy. What's worse is that I have a fairly demanding schedule ahead of me today. A lot of cases needs to be worked on today, and it takes quite a lot of brain activity. I hope I can do a decent job. So sleepy...

Of course, today I am on track again. Yesterday's calculated slip-up will NOT be repeated. I will be doing good. The only "bad" thing I will be doing today is my lunch. It's a boring, from-the-freezer-premade-meal that will probably suck. It's a whopping 500 calories for something that probably won't even taste very good. Oh, well. It's what I have to work with today.
However, it will fit in my budget, and that's that. I don't know yet what Wife has planned for dinner - we'll have to see about that. One thing is for sure, I will not go over my 1800 calories - especially not since I won't be exercising today. I hope to be back doing that tomorrow. Today is gonna have to be about surviving the day without crashing completely.
This morning I'm thankful for: - Morning coffee. Oh, boy, do I need it today. - The option to go back to bed and sleep another hour. I just might do that. - Wife, for just stepping in the background and letting me be a sleepy zombie this morning, but helping me along so I don't hurt myself along the way. :)
