Woke at 218.0, down .6 from yesterday. Still carrying water and I expect to until I can get some Lasix in me this weekend. Blood ketones at .6, so just inside the ketosis band (.5 to 3.0 millimolar). I wanted to check because I ate 130 grams of protein yesterday (and 22 net carbs). Wanted to see if that would knock me out of ketosis. I measured 1.2 before dinner last night so it had an effect. UPDATE: Ate the exact small, very low carb lunch as yesterday and about the same amount of exercise. Came home at 7:45 pm and weighed in at 220.0. But my blood ketones were back up to 1.3. I am not worried about weight gain or loss anymore. Had another chicken fajita for dinner but added some celery and peanut butter and three big glasses of red wine for an end of month blowout! Tomorrow, I begin a five-day fasting mimicking diet with 1100 calories the first day and 800 calories for four more days. And no meat, coffee, or booze, so I got my wine in tonight! I should lose some weight and body fat by Tuesday.
