I don’t even know where to start. I declared today a cheat day, we had a family event all day long today at a water park and had to eat there as ‘no outside food or drink’, they didn’t have the best choices for eating healthy, but I still chose a half a turkey and provolone sandwich rather than a piece of pizza. It didn’t help though when I ate a side of fries and dipped them in nacho cheese then proceeded to eat 3 or 4 Mozzerella sticks 🤦🏻‍♀️ Sadly this wasn’t even the worst part... for dinner we went to a buffet (seriously 🙄) I should have said no buttttt I already cheated today so why not right? Ugh bad choice.

Let’s just hope all the exercise I did today made up for all the calories I consumed. I’m not even going to record what I ate cause I don’t have the slightest idea how much I truly consumed.

I’ll be back at it tomorrow.

I agree with Murph plus you were enjoying time with your family...you were trying to make better choices and that was a special day..its going to be fine..Im going to have special days myself;)

No idea how this is even possible but I legit gained 4 pounds since yesterday morning. So I’m going to work my ass off for the next 3 days to get back down to last weeks weigh in. Ugh I feel like I let myself down but I also learned a valuable lesson.

My lesson? It’s never worth it lol just say no! I don’t want to have another cheat day. I NEED to record everything I eat BEFORE I eat it so I can physically see how many calories I’m about to consume (this always helps deter me). It helped me see though that even when I do lose all this weight, a day like yesterday (which was incredibly easy btw) can put me down the same road to bad habits that made me this fat in the first place.

Half of the 'gain' is probably water retention, high amounts of sodium can make the scale spike. Drink lots of water and that number should come down.

@Pheonix that’s what I’m REALLY hoping. They did use salt water so I’m kind of leaning on that, because I gained 4.6 pounds in 1 day with exercising (climbing 25 flights of stairs) plus all the swimming... ugh. Anyways it’s going to be nice today, almost 70 degrees so we are going take the dogs and kiddos hiking today at one of our local waterfalls.
