After one week of complete stagnation on the scale, I finally was able to move the scale downward. Almost a pound. Being patient and reminding myself that the weight will drop with continued consistency helped me a great deal.
I ate Raisin Bran for breakfast yesterday with a banana and a cup of coffee...that was over 700 calories so I knew the rest of the day would be a challenge.
At noon, I cooked a grass fed ground beef patty, 9oz to be exact, and put it on 2 Great Grains whole grain bread with flaxseed. I topped it with ketchup and mustard, pickles and then cut a 1/3 off for my daughter. I also ate 2 cups of pasta with a simple tomato sauce. That sounds like a lot of food but I used to eat triple that at every meal. I was full but not stuffed and I went back to work. For dinner, I ate two classic dill pickles and 10 cherry tomatoes. I drank 3 glasses of water. I also had enough energy to spend an hour and a half washing my jeep...which I NEVER have so my body is responding to this lifestyle alteration.
I was hungry at bedtime but I have gotten used to different types of hungry. I woke up at 5am and weighed myself and I was almost a pound lighter. Let's keep this training rolling. Good luck fellow losers...let's do this!
