Annnnnd now I have covid. I got it from my grandma who I take care of. I can honestly say the cough sucks but the headache is worse. Day 2 of quarantine. I'm barely able to take care of myself and my grandma. Hopefully in a couple days I'll be able to function better. Hope everyone is having a better week than I am.

I'm really happy with the slow and steady progress I am making. I still eat the steak egg and cheese bagel from McDonald's when my husband brings it home for me but I eat a third or a half of it. portion control is the key. I have added high protein low carb yogurt and such to my diet and it really helps me get the protein I require.

slowly coming off. meds with diet change have been the key.

my life is exceedingly sad sometimes. I am physically disabled and for the most part I think I do very well. I can do most anything. my stamina isn't great but I manage to keep up with my life. I have dogs and I take care of them as well as take care of my grandma who has dementia and Alzheimer's. she's in the last stages and doesn't know where she is or who we r. recently my momma got some devastating health news and it breaks my heart. she was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and this usually develops into dementia and when she is here visiting her mom it's like she's haunted by the possibility that this will be her in a few years. I'm slowly watching my grandma die and lose herself and I will be the one picking up the pieces when this starts for my momma as well. my momma has taken care of herself physically and there's nothing I can do to help her. sometimes life just isn't fair.

slow and steady... mindful eating is helping. Even if I go over my calories for a day I'm still keeping in mind about portions and it's definitely helping.
