God has granted me with two weight losses in a row without any help from me. I am so thankful for the past two weight losse and have determined it is time to start helping him out! I know there is only so much help he can give me before I have to start helping myself and I have a feeling that time is coming! He has helped me get back on track with my goal of weight loss and I am now officially .6 pounds away from where I wanted to be at for this week. Last week I was only a pound away. I am so motivated right now and have no more excuses. Let me be an example for some of you that just because you do bad for a weekend doesn't mean you have to let the whole week be bad. I started counting points with the intention of making this week last from Monday through Friday and just excluding the weekend that I completely blew out of the water. I dropped those two days, let them just be in the past and stuck to my daily points and didn't go over my weekly points. I did not do nearly as much exercise as I planned to do, but made sure that even if I was using my weekly points, it was only to make sure that I got all of my good health guidlines in. I think that was a HUGE contributing factor to my success this week. So now I am off to start the new week with a new motivation and drive to succeed. To all of you who have been having bad weeks remember this little saying "The past is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift"...let that be some inspiration to your WW day today. Don't worry about how bad your day was yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow, focus on today and how well you can do TODAY! Obviously you have to plan your week out, but once you have your week planned, focus on each day and try to make it your best day of tracking ever!!!

It's official! I ate too many points this weekend! Calculated everything and I am over my weekly points by 22, time to get back into the gym and try to counter balance those points! If I do the bike for an hour twice this week, it will make up for those extra points I splurged on. I am going to try and do my five mile walk tonight, Wed and Friday and then will do the gym tomorrow and Thursday. Hopefully it works and I will lose this week too! I haven't gotten a chance to read everyone's journals, but hopefully you are all doing well. I feel like I am barely keeping my head above water right now with points, I sank over the weekend, but today is a new day and I have to start over and not worry about the past two days. Started off with some Lean Pocket breakfast sandwiches, will probably have a Smart Ones for lunch. I am going to the store at lunch so I will probably get some dinner items while I am there. I need to get all of my good health guidlines in tonight. I will be picking up yogurt to have with the apples I got the other day, need to get some veggies too. I will probably get lettuce for a salad so I can put my olive oil on a salad and then will have toast with dinner. so much to plan for tonight, but this morning was rushed, so I have to get it all in tonight. Whoops! Need to do it though or it will feel like another failed week. Well, good luck to everyone this week! It is a short one! :)

Tonight was such an accomplishment! My roommate's mom is down from our hometown and steamed broccoli to go with spaghetti and I was able to eat it! I am so excited! She said she forgot a veggie for tomorrow night and I mentioned having a bag of lettuce in the fridge, so I am going to try having some salad tomorrow. She is supposed to be making pasta with sausage or something like that, so I will probably pass on that because if i remember correctly, it is pasta with a lot of butter, some seasonings and fatty sausage...a point killer. I will probably just have my usual chicken salad which I have been craving the past couple of days! Hopefully I can eat it. well I should get some sleep before weigh in tomorrow...scale looked promising this evening, but we will see how things go tomorrow morning. Maybe not being able to eat anything really solid the past couple of days has helped me! Not that it was entirely healthy, but hey...gotta take it anyway I can at this point!
