Well the past two weeks has been crazy busy for me, but I have managed to stick to my two pound a week goal. I lost 1.8 this week, but I pretty much consider that two pounds...had I gone to the restroom before weigh in...I would have hit that two pound mark.

I don't know why it has been so hard to get back on the plan, but both weeks I have managed to barely scrape by and stick to my points. It seems like before I flew through the week with no problems, but I feel more tempted now to just eat whatever I want. I am making more progress than I hoped to though, so I am pretty proud of myself...as is my husband. He expressed through emails that he is absolutely thrilled to hear that I have not fallen off the wagon within the first two weeks of starting up again! He wants me to send him pics, but I think I want to surprise him when he gets home.

A friend got me to start going to the WW meeting on Saturday. I have to say it is a great idea. I get to kind of splurge over the weekend and then know exactly what I have to do for the rest of the week and can plan out my meals in advance rather than just "wingin" it. I find that I now have an easier time during the week since I am already busy with work and the gym and don't have to worry about the spontaneous things that come up on the weekends. It also gives me the rest of the week to work off those extra points I have eaten. :)

I just started my new week and I have to say I did a lot better this weekend than last weekend. I only used about 10 of my weekly points where as last weekend I only left myself ten for the rest of the week, so I am doing a little bit better off than last week.

They have been doing some painting at the gym I go to on base, so I didn't get to go to the gym last week...hopefully I will be able to hit it hard this week though. That is another reason I am so surprised I lost as much as I did.

I have to admit I love this site...I don't get to sign in as often as I would like to because I am so darn busy, but I feel like I am making myself more accountable...and when/if I do start to get off track, I am sure there will be a lot of people here to support me and give me ideas on how to get right back on. It seems like everyone is so helpful to one another!

PS~
When I first signed on I put in my current weight rather than my original starting weight...is there a way to edit and record previous weights like on the WW website? I could enter my entire history if there is. :) Thanks!

Today is my first day on fatsecret.com...just browsing and checking it out. I have done Weight Watchers before and lost about 30 pounds or so...then my husband, who is in the Navy, came home and I gained almost all of it back. I am sure I could have gained way more but since Weight Watchers is absolutely a lifestyle change, it kind of helped me keep things in perspective.

Although they allow you the extra weekly points and let you earn activity points, I try and use them only on special occasions. My husband is gone again and losing two pounds a week is my goal. He is gone until November so my goal by then is to lose about fifty pounds or so...he will be shocked when he gets back! It will be hard, but I have gotten my routine of going to the gym started.

This is my first week back on the plan and finances kept me from going to the store to keep me from getting my fruits/veggies, so most of my points have just been unhealthy ones, but I tried to stay within them anyway because it really does make a difference. I messed up counting the points on a recipe that I had twice this week, and we are doing a dinner cruise on Friday which will kill me in points, but I will still stay within them...so with it being my first week back on the plan after months, I will probably still lose weight, but not be off to as great of a start as it would have been had I followed the good health guidlines like I am supposed to.
