I always manage to come up short with my fruit, veggie, and water servings a day. Does anyone have any tips or tricks that help them get all their servings in each day??
Also - are there any great food finds that anyone has run across??

One of my favorite recipes :) I tried to post it in the recipes spot, but it's too many characters.
Southern Oven Fried Chicken
1/2 cup fat free buttermilk
1/2 cup cornflakes, crushed
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
2 pounds chicken, skinned (I use chicken breasts)
4 teaspoons canola oil
Preheat the oven to 400 F; spray a large baking sheet with nonstick cooking oil
Pour the buttermilk into a large shallow bowl. One a sheet of wax paper, combine the cornflake crumbs, flour, salt, and pepper. ( I just put this in another bowl) Dip the chicken in the buttermilk, then dredge in the cornflake mixture, coating completely. Place the chicken on the baking sheet; drizzle with the oil.
Bake 30 minutes, then turn the chicken over. Bake until cooked through, 15 - 20 minutes longer.
Serving Size: 2 pieces Points Value: 5 pts
This chicken is SO good! You feel like you're eating "real" fried chicken. It's one of my FAVORITES.. and my husband loves it too!!

I felt like I did OK today :)
I did my 50 crunches today. Sunday is an "off day" for my exercise routine, so I went ahead and took an off day. BUT - tomorrow is when the hard part starts.. yay!
Breakfast: None (ooops!!!)
Lunch: Smart ones & unsweet Tea 5 pts
Snack: Chocolate Pudding & unsweet tea 2 pts
Dinner: Oven Fried Chicken, Green Beans, Rice, 2 cresent rolls, water 11.4 pts
Snack: 100 cal pack, Fat Free caramel ice cream 4 pts
TOTAL: 22.4 points -- I'm under my allowance!! (24 pts)
P.S. The oven fried chicken is a WW recipe, it's WONDERFUL!!!
Tomorrow I workout for the first time (on base) and I start my vitamins, etc. I guess it's my first "official" day..
It's gonna be tough!!
I've gotta get to bed early tonight... last night was another late night...

I just started my diet yesterday. I'm wanting to lose 65 lbs and get back to my high school weight. I've been watching what I eat for the past week, and have lost 2 lbs! My first mini goal of 16 lbs is Oct 15. Right now that's what I'm working towards :)
