Sorry about the tease yesterday, but I was so excited, and just didn't have time to write more than a note... but had to get it out somewhere!
I got an email from night school yesterday. They had told me that they would start up my class if I had 6 or more students signing up for it. I was told that many times the first time classes don't go through, but for me to hang in there and see what would happen.
So I did.
Well, as I said, I got the email yesterday. I have TEN signups! We are go and I am super psyched about it.
I haven't fully mapped the course, but I know a lot of topics that I want to talk about, along with it simply being weigh-ins (weight watcher style) and "group therapy" to help my class stay accountable.
I think that is the best way to do it. We need the support for us to succeed, and Fatsecret is the clear proof of that. I know I couldn't have done it without the massive support here.

Yesterday was kinda tough. I wanted sugar SO bad, but I managed to stay clear of it. I had an apple, a couple of bananas and a strawberry smoothie instead. Sugar free, of course.
I know there are sugars in the fruit, but these are not what I am trying to avoid. I am trying to avoid the processed stuff, like chocolate and candies.
I did well.
Actually, I did so well that I am down almost a full kilo today! This means a total weight loss of 5 lbs since Sunday morning. Wow. It's amazing how my body reacts to me doing right. Now, if it would just stop reacting as fiercely when I do bad, I would happy. :)

I slept late today, so my journal will be a little shorter than usual. I needed the sleep bad, yesterday was hard - both because of the sugar cravings but also because of work. I had a lot of interviews, and they really drained the hell outta me.
Sorry, JP, you'll have to read the cereal box when you're done with my journal today. It's probably not long enough. :)
