My experiment with using the food diary again has reinforced that I don't like using my food diary. Being conscious is one thing, but it makes me over-conscious and triggers fears that I am eating not enough or too much of one thing or another. The training I went to with my friend was excellent but I didn't get any sleep or exercise. I meant to go to the hotel gym and kept losing track of time. I didn't plan well enough but had a good time anyway. Now that I am back I think that with my routine disrupted I am not eating enough. Yesterday I weighed 129.6 (up from 129.4 pre-trip), and this morning I weighed 128.6, weight I was not planning on losing. I am not starving or anything, but think I could probably eat a couple more hundred calories than I did yesterday and be healthier for it. Of course, its all just fluctuations, but I think fluctuations can hint at the direction one is going in, too. Just had the yummiest smoothie, which included a date this morning along with a half banana and some berries. The only problem is that the date was hard to blend. The good news is that the blender woke my husband up and apparently he was late for work! If I hadn't made that smoothie, he would have probably slept another two hours!!
