Wooohooo once again!
Good morning, FatSecreteers!
Well, things are definitely happening.I am down an amazing 2.2 kgs since yesterday! What the...?
I'm not even sure how that is possible. I mean, I definitely don't eat 2.2 kgs of food on my lunch and breakfast on a regular day. Still, it happened. And of course my greedy mind is already asking me if there will be a "2nd day after fasting" kilo drop too, like I had after the first fast I did. Only time will tell.
Well, in conclusion from yesterday - fasting was super easy. I had absolutely no quarrels doing it, I actualy quite enjoyed it.
I woke up early today. Not really hungry, but energized. I suppose this is what I have heard about. The inner cave man is telling me that I need to man up and go hunt! So he's giving me a little extra boost so I can go kill a dinsaur for breakfast.
(Don't worry, I am perfectly aware that cavemen and neanderthals didn't live at the same time)
So I'm up, doing my journal, and just trying to stay quiet to not wake up Wife.
I'm certain now that I have no issue fasting this way. Unless I get so sick and tired of it that I just wanna throw it all away. There is of course no telling whether I will get to that point or not, other than simply to keep going.
So far the numbers are amazing.
I did have an increase on my body fat percentage. I climbed 1%, but that is fully expected when I drop 2.2 kgs. That's normal. The quiestion is more how it reacts on longer term. As is the weight.
Doing my new system shows some MASSIVE weight fluctuations. This is something to remember when doing it. I'm not sure for "regular" people (as in ones NOT developing this, or experimenting with it) that it's a smart thing to weigh in daily. It takes a relatively strong mind to handle the weight increases that come with it. Unless I am jumping the gun here and just haven't realized that it's gonna be mostly daily drops in weight. I don't know that yet. The only time I have really seen a gain was after Indulgence Day, and the following day, just like any old Indulgence Day. However, I don't expect a 2.2 kg drop to stick for more than a day. Of course, I hope that not all of it will come back, but I don't expect it to go down just like that. It'd be nice though, wouldn't it?
Today, I'm gonna be rockin' with the kids, after work. I think work will be fairly uneventful too.
Food intake will be involuntary low today. I had my usual breakfast. I will have leftovers from dinner yesterdays, so this will be a very low calorie lunch. I will have a pita with ham and lettuce for dinner - what I usually have when I to teach. It's fast, cheat and easy, and light on calories.
I wonder how this will affect my 2nd low calorie day Wednesday? Time will tell. Also, it will be a slightly longer day with no foods, as I will eat dinner around 4 pm today, and then not eat until around 5:30 tomorrow. Let's see what happens. I love these experiments, and seeing where they take me. On these three days alone, I'm ending up with a MASSIVE calorie deficit. I just gotta make sure I compensate on otherdays - which would be today. There just isn't that much of a chance to do it, and I still don't want to go eat something dumb just to eat.
Wife will be putting up our Christmas tree I think.
Today, I'm thankful for: - Anothing successful fasting day. Easy. - Massive weight loss today. - A nice chunk of interest in this from you guys. I appreciate the support and the comments. - Breakfast in a few minutes, though I'm actually considering waiting a little, just because I'm not all that hungry.
Happy Tuesday! Life is good!
