Well I had high hopes at the beginning of September, then had the emotional roller coaster & accompanying depression of losing a friend and a sibling to heart disease. I am functioning better & even managed to get some exercise last night. Of course, the wedding & champagne last weekend probably contributed some to the weight gain.
But it's a new month now, so time to deal with my emotions better. I was tempted to join something called My Peak Challenge, which I follow on Twitter & Instagram. This program is sponsored by Scottish hung Sam Heughan - those who watch "Outlander" will recognize him. And they donate proceeds to charity! They're starting a 90-day challenge for Oct - Dec 2019, but at $118 it's a bit pricey. Still, I like the idea, so here is MY FatSecret 90-day challenge:
1. Lose 10 lbs - a modest goal, but I think it's doable;
2. Start lifting weights twice weekly in addition to cardio; and
3. Pass my Exercise Physiology course with a "B" or better!
That last one will be the hardest, I think. I have a roughly 78 in the class right now, but I'll be working harder on it starting today. AND I'll start tracking on FatSecret again today - thank goodness it's FREE! And maybe next year I'll join MPC for another 90-day challenge - it could happen!
