It's raining, for the 9th day out of 11. Hard to get your butt out of bed when you know what awaits you outside. Time to suck it up. It's gym time!

The hardest part is getting there. After you start your not in such a rush to go because you know the benefits are worth it. Stick with it!

It could be snow like the north central and northeast. Rain is dreary but snow means lots of work.. play also if one does winter sports but for most it's work and difficult to get anywhere

I live in Taiwan, but I am from Canada. I went home for Christmas and we had a killer Ice storm that came along with -28 degree weather. Our power went out for 5 days in a row, which meant no water since we have a well. My dad and I had to cut down trees in the backyard so we could burn them for heat and boil snow for water. I would gladly take that over this. I am not made for rain. It's all about powering through and sucking it up lol.

That was a stressful trip home!! Have been there with no power and a well, we were thankful for neighbors who were on town water. The dreariness of the rain can definitely get to one. I'm trying get my butt out of bed to walk before work this morning, staying up too late with the Olympics on. A cup of coffee first then will move. My motivation is that it makes me feel better all day. Gym time is after work as I leave for work @ 6:10. Hope you get some sunshine soon.

Rain is worse than snow for me too. Snow falls slow and usually lightly, whereas rain downpours and gets me soaked, which is very depressing. I would rather go out in the snow than the rain because I don't look forward to getting wet by the rain. But when it comes to walking for exercise, I don't like going out in either and both take away my motivation too. The aftereffect of rain is usually better than snow though, because snow accumulates and lasts for a long time (I'm in the Northeast in the US) and requires shoveling, which is a big inconvenience and a pain. Fortunately, my husband does the shoveling and I'm able to stay inside when it's snowing or raining because I work from home and workout at home. If you go to the gym, Danyelle, you will likely only be outside for a short time, and the rain outside might motivate you to stay inside working out at the gym for longer :) Good luck! You can do it!

Raining here tonight, smells a bit like spring, it's washing the remaining snow and salt away. Weather guy says it will turn to snow in the morning but not stick. Cold rain is not very pleasant but I don't have to shovel it or have it turn to solid ice like last week.
