Another lb down today! I wonder how long I can keep this momentum?
Surely, some (if not all) the weight coming off of me is water - as I haven't really been at any point where I've been gaining fat - at least in theory.
It's all good, though. I am down to 78.6 kgs today, from a "starting" point of 79.9 two days ago. Not bad at all. If I can keep this up, I will definitely reach my goal. Of course, I will have to brace myself for some days with NO loss and maybe even gain. I would be running low on water or something, and my body will automatically compensate.
One bigger difference in my behavior this week though: I have not had any evening snacks. I had decided to allow myself to make a smoothie (milk, frozen fruit, sweetener - nothing bad) in the evening. I simply haven't had the urge for one. Even if it's not bad on the calorie counting, it still weighs down for a while. A smoothie like that weighs about 350 grams, 200 of these being milk. So I wonder how much this affects a day-to-day weigh-in?
Anyways, I will have these when and if I feel like it. They're a good way to satisfy the sweet tooth. Of course, when I don't feel like them in the evening, I will simply skip them. No need to waste calories - especially not this week!
So, yesterday was fun rocking with the kids, even if I had to give them a little bad news. See, the concert has been canceled. Boooo! They were looking forward to doing it, and now there is nothing. That really sucks. It hasn't been time wasted though - they've learned a lot and gotten a little band together, with the ability to play together. Next step for them is to be able to organize themselves to do it without Teacher. :) We'll take a look at this next year.
We have one more class left of this season, and then it shuts down over summer, to start again in October.
I'm thinking that next week will be a chill day for the group, maybe treat them to some goodies and go to the media room and check out some live DVDs. Inspire them a little bit. This will be fun.
Today at work I have NO interviews. I will have a full day to catch up! Nice! I'm not sure if I have a meeting in the afternoon, we'll see. I just might. If so, that's what I have to do, and then use the rest of the day to catch up on files. It'll be a good day.
Today I'm thankful for: - Another low(er) weigh-in. 1.7 kgs to go until Tuesday morning. - Iron Maiden on DVD. :) - Morning Coffee! - A nice chat with wife before she left for work.
