As expected today I'm all achy so I'm spending my time sat on the bed with a very purry cat. He loves it when I'm here he'll spend the day just lying on my legs. This morning I've rearranged the freezers - we moved a small fridge with a tiny freezer on top and brought our big fridge freezer that we brought from Oldham into the house - it had been in the garage for the last 5 years, which is where the other one went. There is already a stand alone freezer in there - all full. I really need to lose the Northern mentality of keeping stuff in for bad weather. We shop online with Sainsbury's once a week and such is the stuff in the freezer we rarely use it. Except for meat - which we seem to have loads of which I buy from Heartier online - organic and British - and they keep giving me £20 off codes, so I just keep on buying.

Have a good one.

My sis has three guzzling boys and she used to buy a whole pig or lamb and she'd always assume there was some left in the freezer but there rarely was! I'm being good about my freezer because I had to throw out some fish which had survived in there for years and that annoyed me - I try to keep to zero food dump which I usually maintain so this loss rankled. Anyway, my freezer is now not a cemetary for skate wings but for ice cubes and a few not-in-season veggies. Oh, and a rogue bottle of Limoncello for when I start drinking again - woohoo!

I get what you mean about the full freezer - I've a day to day one in the kitchen and a chest freezer which used to be in the garage but now we've moved is in a corner of the hall. I keep saying I'll get rid of it ...

When we moved in here the freezer was full of out of date stuff - as were the cupboards - we threw so much food out - we kept anything that looked okay - tins, packets and so on - but in 2013 there was stuff in the freezer dated 2007 and Shirley couldn't understand why we wanted to get rid. We try not to throw food away. I keep making breadcrumbs with old bread - I'm getting to the stage where I'll mix it with fat and give it the birds. I really don't think I need 10 tins each of tomatoes and beans. I'm also one for buying in bulk if it's a good buy. We've now got 4 litres of Lea & Perrins Worcester sauce - it comes in a plastic bottle. I often audit the freezers and will be doing that later in the week

Oh no What did you do to make yourself all achey today, or is it just one of those “ pain for no reason CIA you haven’t had this much pain in a while “ days? Enjoy your kitty snuggles and hope tomorrow is a better day 🤗🤗

4l of Worcestershire Sauce?? Were you expecting people turning up demanding Bloody Mary cocktails in vast quantities?

Did someone mention Bloody Marys? Hopefully you have 4L of sherry too for the floaters.

Tony puts it in lots of things - baked beans, eggs, curries.

I prefer the sound of Bloody Marys ;-)

I'm inclined to hoard food too so I have to have a clear out now and again 🙂

Minitata I do exactly the same filling both our freezers and I am Northern also! I think it is my age as well, being in my sixties!
