Well, I am stuck. I know I am walking way more than before (got a 9 mo pup who needs exercise) so I feel good about that. I see so many others dropping weight and it makes me long to see my own numbers go down. But I am so glad for them! What an encouragement it is to see the evidence that changing behaviors pays off. So I will slog on and trust that my turn will come eventually.

have you figured out your rdi and start documenting everything you eat or drink?? that is generally one of the best tools in your diet kit. Helps you figure out truly how many calories you are eating. good job on getting more exercise, definitely a step in the right direction.

If you can hack it, and it is definitely not for everyone, the most effective and expedient way to break a plateau is fasting. Let's go! #justdonteat

To answer the various questions (and thank you to all of you for taking the time to comment and offer suggestions and encouragement): I log all my calories, try to eat around 1400 per day, am trying to drink more water, and try to track my daily steps. I’m 58 so I don’t expect the lbs to fall off, but want to keep slowly losing by controlling the food intake and choosing to eat healthy food most of the time. I had gastric bypass many years ago and lost 100, have kept most of it off, but never got down to where I need to be. I’m hoping that tracking my food/calorie intake gets me there!
