Not the greatest meal for my calorie goals but it’s oh sooo good.. squash and mushrooms sautéed with garlic and fresh basil and oregano, two over medium eggs and some buttered toast.

A small compromise for the future— one egg, one piece of toast. Same meal, same great taste that you love, just a couple hundred calories less. Small changes over time reap big rewards.

Kenna I’m trying to gain weight so I needed the extra calories and protein. This was really lower in calories than what I needed. Tena they’re just sautéed with a little bacon grease, garlic, fresh basil and oregano and then maybe a tsp or so of teriyaki sauce in the last few minutes

Toast? Oh ya, I remember toast. Haven't seen any on my plate in so long I forgot what it looks like. (Covers Eyes) Too tempting! Ha.

Aw I’m sorry! I’ll eat it for you? I’m trying to find a happy medium of what to share and what not to since I’m on an opposite diet plan from everyone else. Not trying to makes y’alls lives more difficult!

that is what is great around here, so many people with different diet plans. You should never worry about what you post. there are many others on those different diet plans too.

Tempest22 Most of the gals in my knitting group are trying to LOSE weight. Only one is trying to GAIN weight. Her doctor recommended that she eat 6 to 8 smaller calorie meals and healthy snacks every day rather than only 3 higher cslaorie meals. He also has told her to do strength and muscle building exercises to add muscle weight.

Blue front that’s great for your friend but I don’t have the time to eat all day. I’m a massage therapist so depending on my schedule, I could be eating a big breakfast, protein shakes and snacks through lunch and then a big dinner to make up for the deficit. Besides my work being physical, I also work out almost everyday at home and have gained almost 5lbs muscle weight. I’m not stressing this too much, this app has been huge for me just in tracking when I haven’t eaten enough for the calories I’ve burned. As long as I’m not in a deficit and I’m getting enough proteins and fats then I’m golden. I appreciate the recommendations though
