10:44am: This morning I did a blood test to check my cholesterol. I'm hoping for some excellent results next week. I also had my husband hide the scale today. It's time for me to retire it for at least a month. I took 2 measurements this morning - waist and hips. I didn't have time to deal with the others - upper arms, bust, thigh, am I missing something else? Of course, I measured the ones that I want reduced the most but I figured if I'm not losing in that area, maybe I'm losing elsewhere. I'll post my measurements once I have all of them.

I feel a great relief that I'm letting go of the scale for awhile. I started looking at other improvements in my life like healthier eating habits and choices, stronger arms and legs during yoga practice and loose-fitting clothing. I've lost 10 pounds and proud of all the improvements. I'm at the weight I typically land at between diets and it's more important for me now to continue improving and seeing the results without a scale.
