4:26pm - I drank one glass of wine too many last night. I think I'm going to hold off drinking for awhile especially since I need to be more frugal these days. I actually didn't weigh myself this morning since I'm giving the scale a break and concentrating on measurements. I think I need to increase my morning exercise by 15 minutes to start seeing results again. I will have to ease into this by 5 minutes/week since getting up earlier than 5:30 is challenging.
Success: 1) Made it into work even though very tired from the weekend. 2) Avoided the scale. 3) Great cholesterol reduction results - from 245 to 199!
I'm grateful for... 1) Having a relaxing job that gives me free time to really think about the tasks at hand. 2) Lots of sunshine that makes it easier to get out and get moving!

I love how you add what you are grateful for - i think i'm going to start doing that. such a great practice! and you're right - the sunshine has been wonderful; and we just started daylight savings time so there's more light in the evenings now. nice.
i've also been drinking too much - does NOT support feeling great, does it?

Nice entry! In the last year, I've worked on being more aware of my alcohol consumption. Before I moved in with my husband, I only drank on nights I was getting together with friends or when I was with my husband. 2-3 nights/week max. After the wedding, we had a ton of leftover wine and didn't need much of an occasion to crack a bottle and finisit in one night. My weight has been pretty steady in my adult life--120 to 130. I was on the higher end of that when I got married. 6 months after the wedding, I was approaching 150!
Now I try to limit myself to 1 alcoholic beverage per sitting. Sunday, I had a beer with lunch and a glass of wine with dinner. I think that was the only alcohol I had all week.
Anyway, great work. Your gratitude practice is excellent.
