We have something we call Tater Mess. Mom came up with it. Basically it’s fried potatoes, then whatever leftover meat you have thrown in, a can of veggies or leftover veggies then add a couple eggs and cover with cheese. I prefer more eggs like yours and hubby prefers minimal eggs so I make two batches. Each has a kid that likes theirs and the youngest alternates 😉

Peeper that’s pretty much what I do on a regular basis. I made a spaghetti squash ‘casserole’ the other day with leftover turkey and gravy and sharp cheddar. Came out awesome and helped to clear out the leftovers!

Tater mess was a staple at my house too, Peeperjj. Mom called it Fried taters and whatever. No cheese at my house though. Can I come to yours?

Lol sure! The more the merrier! (And less food for me to eat lol) I’ve always loved cheese and we go through a big 1# block weekly pretty much. Well now that I’m eating less it’s every other week. Nachos were my lunch of choice for years but I can’t afford the 600 calories for soemhrinf that doesn’t keep me full all day now. 😭

I’m trying to stick to a 400 lunch and 600 dinner then a couple small snacks. It’s not working lol. Just out of sorts lately so doing the best I can. My usual 200 cal homemade chicken noodle soup turned into 599!! Two heaping bowls plus 3 slices of cheese and 5 crackers. Oh man I felt so full and wonderful lol. Added in lots of chicken so I did get protein. However it was supposed to be two bigger meals and I ate almost all of it in one. Ah well life goes on. Instead of your ating my cheese why don’t you give me an extra 200 kcal of your daily calories and I’ll eat it myself 🤪😝

But then that defeats the purpose of me needing to eat more! 😩 just give me your damn cheese. Help me to help you 😂. That makes me want to make chicken and dumplings.. I’m so not helping lol
