Woke at 232.4, down .4 from two days ago (did not weigh in yesterday morning). Continuing the 'Slow Carb Diet' from the 4-Hour Body book until the end of the month. Going to look at this again in January. Weight is up, up, up and at minimum, I may drop the legumes recommended in that diet. I've been eating about 500 more calories per day to try to get the metabolism working. I definitely have a higher resting metabolic rate, but it does not seem to have gone high enough to offset the additional calories. The experiments continue! UPDATE: Polished off the Mediterranean Beef from earlier this week at breakfast and dinner. Weighed 231.8 for my end of day weigh in. Noticed something strange. I put on a lot of weight lately but my body fat percentage and mass have gone down -- by about two pounds in the last two weeks. I don't know if I believe that or if it's just the vagaries of my BIA scale, but my body sure doesn't FEEL like it has less body fat. I am noticeably heavier. On we go into the holidays!
