Not up as early as I wanted to be for my walk & bike ride. I just hope it doesn't get too hot while I'm out. I'm still so tired as my bed & abs didn't let me sleep too well last night.

As for my weight this morning, still up 4lbs from Thurs weigh-in. I keep telling myself it has to do w/ muscle & water, and I really hope it does.

I'm still sore but not as badly as before. I think I must have over worked my left abs b/c they hurt the most. Turning over in my "sleep" is still pretty painful, so we'll see how sit ups & push ups go tonight. I don't want to not do them again, but I can only do what my body will allow (no matter how badly I'd like to push myself).

The worst for me is the day after "leg day". I almost fall to the ground when I get up b/c my legs are so sore and weak. I feel your pain!!! haha. Hope you feel well soon! I would wait until tomorrow before you attempt any other ab activity.

Thanks. Considering it's still pretty tender just getting up from chairs & what not, I might have to. I'll attempt 1 of each to see where I'm at. Never in my life have my abs felt like this, even when I was working out consistently. So we shall see. I'm draggin' today. I fell back to sleep after my post this morning, so I'm up now getting ready to head to the park. Gonna have to wear my camel bag while walking & riding b/c it's almost 85 out & I won't make it w/o water. The upside, overcast & a breeze should help a bit. Alrighty, time to kick my butt into gear!!

Don't overwork your poor abs! They need some time to repair itself! I don't work any muscle group that is sore the next day of working them. So, if my legs are sore the next day, I'm working my arms instead.

Lol, if I did that then I wouldn't exercise everyday. But when it comes to my legs, they're going to be sore no matter what so it's a pain I learned to live w/ long ago.

my first week of exercise i couldn't even WALK.. i love getting past that part ... i'm starting to work towards jogging so i'm sore again.. but it feels GREAT!.. congrats on ur loss so far!

My legs, since all my muscle clearly resides in my thighs, usually are only really sore the first 2 days of a new workout. The soreness I feel after that only happens after the workout & by the next day I'm good to go again. I think once I get down to 200 I'll give jogging a try. If I keep up what I'm doing, then it shouldn't be as much of a shock to my body & hopefully I'll be able to control my asthma enough to get through the entire 6 mile trail.

i hated jogging bc i couldnt... now i want to do nothing but push harder to jog farther... biggest motivation for daily workouts honestly lol
